Today I turn the beautiful age of 39.....just one more year before the BIG 40!!! I must say, this has been one of my best birthdays ever, thanks to wonderful friends and family. You all know who you are!!! **wink** Love you......

End of Season Competition...

Our last competition before Nationals was held in Dayton this past weekend. Grace competed 6 times, and received "High Gold" in 5 of the 6 pieces. Here are a couple of shots from backstage...

Grace's 1st Art Award...

Grace was honored last week with a 1st place art award at her school's art show. Here is a pic of the 5 finalists, and her piece. The category was "Oil Pastel Vase". Needless to say, I was extremely proud of her!!!

Grace qualified this past weekend for Dance Masters of America National Dance Competition to be held in D.C. this summer.....and she did so with ALL 5 of her routines!!! What a trouper!!! Above are a few more pics from our exciting weekend...Yep, our teacher loves RED!!!

Cleveland....

A few pics from our Cleveland trip....more to follow. In these, Grace is being stretched out by her dance teacher in preparation for her jazz trio, and posing backstage with other dancers before her Marionette dance. Also, some fun with her brother at the mall.....

Cleveland Bound....

Heading to Cleveland tomorrow for Grace's dance competition, which could qualify her for Nationals in Washington, D.C. this summer. Pictures to follow.....wish us well!!! P.S. She's doing 5 different routines....a tap solo, a jazz trio, 2 tap groups, and production, as well as scholarship classes...should be a great weekend!!! (And of course we'll catch a Cavs game while we're up there!!)
